south London family shoot

What I like about photographing families is the calmness of the shoot – there’s nothing stressful about it (like a wedding can be, as you can’t miss certain moments), just hanging around with a bunch of lovely people. And the kids/babies are always a bonus! Of course you look for the best angles and smiles and looks but you can have a nice chat doing that and even sip some tea.

Elodie, Tim and their little June are this kind of family – friendly, loving and kind. They live in West Norwood in South London and they invited me to take pictures to celebrate June’s first birthday. We spent a very nice hour together and here are a few of the photos from the session.
