Luxury Scottish wedding - Nairne and Blair

The Breathtaking Scottish Countryside Wedding of Nairne and Blair

Fashion meets tradition. In a celebration that blended Scottish tradition, it’s outstanding natural beauty, and high fashion, Nairne and Blair exchanged their vows in a church amidst the rolling hills and picturesque landscapes of the Scottish countryside, before celebrating in their family estate, surrounded by the ancient trees and a Scottish lake. The event was a gorgeous fusion of their love story and their impeccable taste, resulting in a wedding that will undoubtedly be talked about for years to come.

A Venue Straight out of a Dream - the best of Scottish countryside

The couple had their two-days-long celebrations at the family estate, nestled in the heart of Scotland. It provided a romantic and awe-inspiring backdrop for the wedding. Lush gardens, centuries-old trees, and the charming allure of the countryside transported guests into a world that felt like a scene from a classic novel. Not only an insanely beautiful surroundings, but also close to their hearts, it was the house where Nairne grew up.

A wedding Dress to Remember

Nairne's wedding dress was simply a masterpiece that left everyone in awe - ethereal and complemented by Blair’s family kilt. It was designed by the renowned Atelier Laure De Sagazan and custom-made in Paris. This gown was a true work of art, there are no other words to describe it. With intricate lace detailing that seemed to cascade like a waterfall, and a silhouette that combined elegance with a touch of bohemian flair, Nairne looked every bit the ethereal bride.

Elegance in Every Step - a fashion forward wedding

To complement her incredible gown, Nairne chose to walk down the aisle in a pair of Loeffle Randall shoes, of course. The choice of Loeffle Randall was just perfection - the brand is known for its unique blend of sophistication and contemporary design. The shoes not only added an element of modernity to her ensemble but also ensured that every step she took was a statement of style and modern elegance. Camellia White Pleated Bow Heel was Nairne’s choice.

The Perfect Blend of scottish tradition and modern fashion

While the wedding was undeniably fashion-focused, it also paid homage to Scottish tradition. The couple held their ceremony in the church Nairne used to go to as a child, reflecting their shared values and aspirations. From the heartfelt vows they exchanged, the outfits choices, the amazing fine dining wedding breakfast to the handpicked selection of song that everyone sang together by the table, Nairne and Blair curated an experience that was as deeply meaningful as it was stylish. I felt honoured to witness and document it all, creating a family heirloom.

Nairne and Blair's wedding was a testament to the idea that a wedding really can be not only a reflection of tradition, but also the couple’s personal style. Their ability to seamlessly blend high fashion with genuine emotion created an atmosphere that was truly authentic. Against the gorgeous backdrop of the Scottish countryside, their love story unfolded like a modern-day fairy tale, leaving an unforgettable mark on all who were fortunate enough to witness it. I love creating memories like these, I feel so incredibly grateful to be a wedding photographer and travel the world from Scotland to California, to document love stories.

Does it rain a lot at Scottish weddings?

It does! LOL

Does it spoil the fun? Oh, NOT AT ALL!!! Moody weather is actually great for photography and if you’re lucky, it will only rain for the reception, when everyone is comfortably seated at a table, eating gorgeous wedding breakfast. As you can see - it didn’t rain for the confetti moment, it didn't rain for the cocktail reception. And even if it did, with a dream team involved, it would still be amazing.
