The Kin House truly is a stunning wedding venue that blends timeless elegance with a very modern charm. Nestled within breathtaking British countryside, this beautiful estate offers a unique setting for couples who love old mansion houses, but can’t decide between that and a modern design. The venue boasts a sophisticated Georgian mansion, luxurious gardens and woodland, and a variety of stylish indoor and outdoor spaces, perfect for both intimate ceremonies and grand receptions. It was my first time in Kin House, so I was very excited when Chess and Ben invited me to document their wedding there. It was also my last wedding of 2024 and for a late autumn celebration - we were surprised by a sunny day so the cocktails were sipped outside, in the gorgeous afternoon light. But - first things first, let’s start with getting ready.

The ceremony space in the Kin House is bright and spacious, with modern, yet romantic design. Chess and Ben were soaked in sunshine and the beautiful florals by Hilary Armale from the Cotswold Florist only added to the magic. The ceremony was meaningful and touching, with both moms - the bride’s and the groom’s doing the readings and I could spot more than one tear in the audience of family and friends. The bride and the groom exchanged the rings, said their personal vows and after the wonderful first kiss, exited the room into the sun filled gardens.

After the cocktail hour at the Kin House, the guests were escorted inside, to the multi course meal and toasts. The tables looked delicious and the room was full of happy chatter and excitement. After the wedding breakfast, speeches and the dancing, guests could hang around in the bar area or outside, by the fire.

Chess and Ben’s wedding at the Kin House was a beautiful, romantic, yet very modern celebration of love. It was a day filled with heartfelt moments, the gorgeous English countryside and the best autumn light. I’ll definitely be back at this wonderful venue!
